About the Client Our client is a nonprofit organization that develops and operates affordable and permanent supportive housing for individuals and families with low incomes. The organization provides on-site supportive services within residential apartment buildings, integrating social work, behavioral health support, and community programming to help residents maintain stable housing and improve quality of life. Position Overview The Clinical Manager provides leadership for behavioral health services across a portfolio of permanent supportive housing sites. This role supervises clinicians and ensures high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care. Unlike traditional hospital settings, this position is based within residential housing communities, working directly where tenants live to support long-term stability and well-being. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Supervision Supervise, mentor, and support clinical staff Promote trauma-informed, harm reduction, and housing-first approaches Ensure adherence to clinical and ethical standards Program Development & Quality Improvement Strengthen early identification and intervention systems Lead quality improvement initiatives Review trends and improve responses to critical incidents Case Consultation & Crisis Response Facilitate case conferences for high-acuity tenants Support crisis intervention and de-escalation Lead incident reviews and prevention strategies Partnerships & Systems Coordination Build relationships with community behavioral health providers Improve referral pathways for mental health and substance use treatment Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams Training & Workforce Development Lead staff training and professional development Support onboarding and team growth Oversee a social work internship program Documentation & Compliance Ensure accurate and timely documentation Maintain compliance with funder and regulatory requirements Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field Clinical licensure (or in progress) preferred 3-5+ years of clinical experience, including supervision Experience working with vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and housing-first models
