Within the Ambulatory Surgery Center, the Nurse Manager Surgery Center will lead a high-performing team of six full-time employees across two operating rooms. The center is dedicated to delivering accessible, high-quality, patient-centered surgical care in an inclusive and supportive environment. The multidisciplinary team emphasizes education, advocacy, personalized care, and respect for diverse identities while guiding patients through every step of the surgical process, including insurance coordination and travel support. The organization is also committed to reducing barriers to care through informed practices, compassionate service, and a strong focus on equity and empowerment.
Reporting to an experienced Surgery Center Administrator and collaborating closely with the Medical Director, the Nurse Manager Surgery Center will oversee perioperative operations, staff scheduling and development, supply chain, quality and safety programs, accreditation readiness (CMS, AAAHC or Joint Commission standards), infection prevention, patient flow from pre-op through PACU, and performance improvement. This Perioperative Services Manager will be supported by friendly nurses, surgical technologists, anesthesia professionals, and a diverse healthcare professional team that values mutual respect, autonomy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
