In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth communication, scheduling, and administrative support within a busy dermatology practice. Your proactive approach will help foster a welcoming environment, streamline patient flow, and support clinical staff in delivering top-quality care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your career in healthcare administration while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following: Greet patients warmly and guide them through check-in procedures with professionalism and care. Answer phones, schedule appointments, check insurance eligibility and enter insurance and registration information efficiently and accurately in the PM system. Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointment details, pre-visit instructions, and follow-up care. Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff. Document patient procedures accurately and efficiently in the EHR/PM system. Recommend in-office skin care products and cosmetic treatments to patients when inquiring. Experience Prior experience working in a medical office environment is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication and documentation. Excellent computer and typing skills, including QuickBooks. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; detail oriented. Professional and effective communication and customer service skills. Possess a passion for patient care. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual/Spanish is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members.
