Job Description

Position Summary The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy outpatient neurology practice while ensuring exceptional patient care, staff development, and operational excellence. This individual serves as a leader and resource for clinical and administrative staff, promoting a positive work environment, efficient workflows, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. The Clinic Supervisor works closely with providers, leadership, and support departments to ensure the clinic operates efficiently while maintaining a high standard of patient experience. Essential Responsibilities Supervise and support front office, medical assistant, and clinical support staff. Monitor daily clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow and provider support. Lead, coach, and develop team members through ongoing training, feedback, and performance management. Assist with staff scheduling, timekeeping, attendance management, and coverage planning. Ensure compliance with company policies, HIPAA regulations, and clinical standards. Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance patient and staff experience. Support new employee onboarding and training initiatives. Address patient concerns and service recovery opportunities in a professional and timely manner. Partner with providers and leadership to achieve operational, quality, and patient satisfaction goals. Monitor clinic productivity, staffing needs, and operational metrics. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Assist with special projects, practice growth initiatives, and implementation of new programs as needed. Qualifications High school diploma required Minimum 2 years of healthcare leadership or supervisory experience required. Neurology or specialty medical practice experience preferred. Strong understanding of outpatient clinic operations and patient flow management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to lead by example while maintaining a positive and supportive team culture. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
