In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients undergoing treatment, ensuring smooth coordination of appointments, insurance processing, and patient communication. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive patient experience while supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position will be for 6 months. Responsibilities Collect and verify patient insurance information, assisting with pre-authorizations and claims processing. Posting payment to Open Dental. Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans, financial responsibilities, and follow-up instructions Maintain accurate and organized patient records using medical office software Support clinical staff by preparing treatment rooms and managing patient flow during appointments Assist in answering phone inquiries, providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards at all times Skills Prior experience working in a dental office setting is required Strong knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with staff and patients Proven ability to support medical administrative tasks efficiently and accurately Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient information Familiarity with office equipment, electronic health records (EHR), and scheduling software Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to make a difference in patient care while honing their administrative skills.
