Position Overview:
We are seeking an upbeat, dependable, detail-oriented, and positive Patient Care Coordinator/Front Office Assistant who enjoys working with people, thrives in an organized setting, and takes pride in doing things the right way. This is an ideal role for someone who is a fast learner, open to feedback, and genuinely eager to learn and grow within a medical office setting.
What You'll Do:
Assist with administrative and operational tasks such as: Insurance authorizations, Surgery scheduling, Patient forms and documentation Front office support and coordination Welcome patients warmly and check them in and out with accuracy and efficiency Schedule appointments thoughtfully to support smooth clinic flow and minimal patient wait times Verify insurance eligibility and ensure patient demographics are current and complete Answer phones, emails, and faxes professionally and promptly with A-poweredI assistance Collect copayments, balances, and cash payments with accuracy and integrity Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, providers, and staff Assist Medical Assistants as needed with rooming patients and clinic flow support Perform light housekeeping duties, including keeping the lobby and front office area clean, organized, and presentable
Who You Are:
Friendly, professional, and dependable HIPPA Compliant, Organized and detail-oriented, especially with patient information and payments A fast learner who is open to feedback, coaching, and new processes Willing and motivated to learn new skills and take on responsibility Comfortable in a busy clinic environment and able to multitask calmly A true team player who is willing to help where needed Positive attitude and strong work ethic Prior Patient Care Coordinator or office assistant experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate
Schedule & Availability:
Clinic days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday Shifts may be up to 10 hours per day Clinic days and hours may occasionally change based on physician schedules Flexibility is required 28-32 hours per week
Compensation:
Hourly pay range: $20.00 - $27.00 , based on experience and qualifications Performance and pay reevaluation after 90 days
