Back on Point Wellness has a perfect 5-star rating and excellent patient reviews, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of care and we are seeking to hire an energetic, positive minded, and detail oriented Front Desk Admin to help us grow and expand. This vital role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical office procedures, and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Your energetic approach and commitment to exceptional patient service will help foster a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Duties Greet patients, visitors, and staff warmly and professionally, providing outstanding customer service at all times Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance coverage and collecting co-payments. Schedule appointments accurately utilizing clinic management software. Answer multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages when necessary Maintain accurate medical records by organizing files, updating patient information, and ensuring confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with medical billing and collection efforts related to patient accounts, including follow-up on unpaid balances and processing payments Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, typing reports, managing health information systems. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient clinic operations while adhering to all safety protocols Experience Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Prior experience working in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred Demonstrated proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (including 10-key), and familiarity with office management software. Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and clerical support experience Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly in compliance with HIPAA standards Ability to prioritize & multi-task Professional presentation and appearance Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic medical terminology Please submit your resume and cover letter.
