Job Description
About Restpadd Restpadd is a licensed Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) committed to providing compassionate, high-quality inpatient mental health care for individuals experiencing acute psychiatric crises. We utilize a patient-centered, recovery-oriented approach that includes comprehensive psychiatric assessment, individualized treatment planning, medication management, therapeutic programming, and coordinated discharge planning. Restpadd will be opening a new PHF in Ukiah, California, offering a unique opportunity for staff to be part of the foundational team launching a brand-new facility. This is an exciting chance to help shape clinical practices, culture, and workflows from the ground up while working alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team dedicated to dignity, safety, and recovery.
JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Director plans, implements, and directs the facility clinical services which assumes appropriate treatment planning and behavioral interventions to assure professional care for each client. You must be willing to travel to the Redding/Red Bluff areas for training.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Clinical Director provides behavioral management and clinical expertise regarding behavior monitoring, individualized interventions, and staff training to the multidisciplinary staff. This position represents the clinical services departments on clinical committees, coordinates clinical activities, and may assume the responsibilities of the Administrator.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of social, psychological, and physical factors of mental and emotional disorders. Knowledge of medical and psychological terminology including medications, psychotropic drugs, and effects on psychiatric patients. Knowledge of the State of California laws and regulations for mental health professionals. Knowledge of regulations pertaining to psychiatric nursing and the treatment of the mentally and emotionally disturbed patients. Theories, principles, and techniques of group and individual psychotherapy. Symptoms and behavior patterns of emotionally disturbed mentally ill patients. Medical and psychiatric emergency procedures. Basic computer programs. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Ability to be highly efficient, organized, and accurate in work. Ability to exercise initiative, judgement, and decision-making skills.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Masters in behavioral science with current CA licensure is required (LCSW, LMFT or Licensed Psychologist) At least two years post-graduate experience working with individuals whose deficits influence their cognitive and behavioral functioningPay:
