Job Description

Clinical Director Position Summary The Clinical Director reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for all clinical elements of the program. Culture
  • Partners with a multi-disciplinary team on assessments, client care planning and treatment goals.
  • Ensures safety of participants.
  • Fosters and creates positive relationships with team members, participants, families, visitors and the community.
  • Interacts with referents, providing customer service, compassion and expertise to each situation.
  • Executes the vision of the organization as it relates to mission, vision, values. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and evaluate clinical program including but not limited to; program curriculum, hiring, training, evaluating and overseeing clinical staff, provide clinical supervision and create and maintain staffing plan.
  • Manage a caseload of between 5-9 individual clients as well as run groups as needed.
  • Oversee Quality Assurance programming as outlined by the Policy and Procedures.
  • Oversee and conduct both group and individual therapy sessions.
Referents:
Work collaboratively with all referents to ensure that the needs of the participants and referents are met.
    Admissions:
    Responsible for reviewing client assessments and clinical decisions regarding admission to the program.
      Client Continuations:
      Beginning at admission; discuss continuation with the primary therapist.
        Discharge Planning:
        Oversee Case Managers and assist with Discharge Planning starting at admission.
          Program Planning:
          Assign client to appropriate groups and/or clinical track. Identify the need for psychological testing, collateral services, special clinical needs, etc.
            Family Program:
            Assess the family situation to determine what family therapy work is indicated, including ongoing family therapy sessions and/ or couple's therapy.
            • Maintain appropriate documentation as required, including all notes in EMR.
            • Direct oversight on all clinical documentation. This role requires 5-8 hours per week of case auditing per week.
            • Crisis intervention as appropriate.
            • Lead weekly Treatment Team meetings.
            • Conduct daily Clinical meetings.
            • Conduct monthly clinical supervision meetings in which 20% of active cases are reviewed.
            • Provide mentorship and training to other clinical staff.
            • Provide in-service training to staff and/or trainee on mental health topics as needed.
            • Provide on-call support as part of on-call rotation. Requirements and Qualifications
            • Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers at all levels of the organization.
            • Two years as a psychotherapist.
            • Five years of behavioral health experience.
            • Ability to supervise interns.
            • Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversities of clients and staff.
            • Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, and professional boundaries.
            Pay:
            $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
