This role directs and supports Neonatal APP Leads and the APP team to deliver high-quality care and achieve measurable clinical outcomes. The Manager advances organizational initiatives at the department and partner site level while driving consistency in service delivery and strengthening cross-site coordination. The role provides leadership in APP development, performance management, operational oversight, and resource optimization to achieve goals in a cost effective and sustainable manner. Champions systemwide and partner site quality, safety, and regulatory initiatives, ensuring accountability to established standards and driving measurable clinical and quality outcomes. •In addition to this role, the Manager, APP, will also fulfill their respective APP job description for all clinical time. Location This position supports AdventHealth and CommonSpirit NICUs Position Status Full-time, eligible for benefits .8 FTE administrative, .2 FTE clinical Shift Primarily days, Monday-Friday Night and weekend coverage expected as needed for clinical duties and coverage Salary Information Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $150,808.54 to $226,212.81 Eligible Incentives Relocation for eligible candidates moving from 100 miles or greater. Duties & Responsibilities Provides systemwide operational leadership to ensure aligned and consistent implementation of policies, procedures, and clinical standards across departments and partner sites. Oversees and supports Neonatal APP Leads and APP teams, ensuring effective operations and delivery of high-quality, developmentally appropriate neonatal care. Drives measurable clinical and quality outcomes, using data and evidence-based practices to improve performance, consistency, and service delivery across all sites. Advances organizational and departmental initiatives, ensuring alignment with systemwide goals and operational priorities at both department and partner site levels. Optimizes staffing and resource deployment across sites, ensuring cost-effective, sustainable operations that meet patient, departmental, and partner site needs. Leads APP development and performance management, in partnership with Director, establishing expectations, coaching leaders, and ensuring accountability for clinical excellence and professional growth. Champions quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to established standards and leading efforts to improve outcomes across all care sites. Strengthens cross-site coordination and collaboration, fostering relationships with key stakeholders to support unified practices, shared goals, and cohesive service model. Leads the development and maintenance of evidence-based policies, procedures, and practice guidelines, interpreting regulatory and organizational standards to ensure compliance and clinical integrity. Identifies and resolves complex operational challenges, ensuring timely, strategic decisions that support patient care, staff experience, and organizational effectiveness. Minimum Qualifications Degrees BSN and Master's Degree NNP, or Bachelor's Degree and MPS or MS-PA. Experience Three years of clinical experience in an APP role. At least one year of APP experience in a Level II and
III NICU
preferred. One year of leadership experience in supervision, leading clinical practice projects, serving as a lead or charge, and/or precepting. Certifications BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certificate; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required if working at a CHCO facility. Licensure(s) Registered Nurse License (RN); Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) License; Prescriptive Authority License and Board Certification as NNP., or Colorado PA License; Prescriptive Authority License and Board Certification as a PA.
