This role is responsible for driving performance, operational excellence, growth, and standardization across practice sites while ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, values, and strategic priorities. In close partnership with physician leaders, administrative leadership, and cross-functional teams, the Senior Director advances access, quality, patient experience, financial performance, and workforce effectiveness across the primary care and women's health service lines. This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Key Responsibilities The Sr. Director of Practice Operations plays a key role in the health system's strategic and operational efforts by: Lead strategic, growth, and operational plans for primary care and women's health in alignment with system priorities. Drive operational performance across practice sites, including access, quality, patient experience, and standardization. Establish performance metrics and lead continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and change initiatives. Lead, develop, and hold practice leaders and teams accountable for high performance and engagement. Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and cost optimization to support financial and operational goals. Partner with physician, executive, and cross-functional leaders to advance service line priorities and system initiatives. Represent the department in key forums and communicate priorities, progress, and decisions across stakeholders. Candidate Qualifications The successful candidate will bring a combination of strategic leadership, operational expertise, and healthcare management experience to support a complex ambulatory practice environment. Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, nursing, or a related field required. Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, including oversight of ambulatory practices, multi-site operations, budgets, and teams. Demonstrated success improving operational performance, access, patient experience, and financial outcomes in a complex clinical environment. Preferred Experience leading primary care, women's health, or other ambulatory service line operations within a large health system or complex matrixed organization preferred. Demonstrated success leading strategic growth, practice integration, standardization, and operational transformation initiatives. Experience partnering closely with physicians and administrative leaders to drive alignment, accountability, and performance across multiple practice sites.
