Rehab Operations Coordinator Infinity Rehab - 3.4 Boulder, CO Job Details $28 - $34 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Employee relationship building Full Job Description Infinity Rehab is seeking a Rehab Operations Coordinat or to work within our therapy team at Boulder Post Acute located in Boulder, CO . Summary The Rehab Operations Coordinator ensures the efficient and effective operation of the rehabilitation department. This includes monitoring admissions and treatment schedules, tracking MDS assessment periods and data, and providing overall management. Essential Administrative Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Attends daily standup meeting and checks regularly with nursing and admissions departments to determine status of newly admitted and to-be-admitted patients with respect to medical condition and history. Reviews new patient medical records for physician-admission rehabilitation orders. Assure evaluations are scheduled as soon as possible. Must be aware of staff schedules and weekend coverage to ensure evaluations are completed and treatment minutes are accrued during the MDS assessment period. Monitors new and existing patient schedules for daily/weekly time variance. Implements variance control strategies so that time and day requirements are met and maintained within rehabilitation allocation. This includes modifications to staffing. Tracks MDS Assessment Period data. Coordinates schedule to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency Develops economical indirect time management strategies such that requirements for patient care planning and other facility-based meetings are efficiently covered. Attends in-service meetings and facility meetings as required. Provides overall general department management to include: equipment and supplies management, clinical and billing documentation compliance, rehabilitation care compliance (screening, Medicare B caseload), quality assurance, and daily staffing management. Communicates/interacts with facility personnel to ensure continued satisfaction with delivery of care. Confers formally and informally with other team members in coordinating the total rehabilitation program of the resident (PPS Management, attending meetings, backup DOR, etc.). Generates special reports/data as needed to assist the Infinity Rehab management team in assessing the efficiency of operations. Adheres to all company policies and implements directives/policies as developed for Infinity Rehab and monitors staff adherence. Assists with and participates in Quality Assurance Program as required. Adjusts equipment as needed. Exercise independent judgment and problem solving in completing assignments according to deadlines. Implement policies and procedures for production of documents, workflow, filing, ordering of supplies, records maintenance and other clerical services. Reports to work on time and coordinates schedule to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency during assigned shift. Maintains regular attendance to ensure patients get proper therapy. Adhere to established confidentiality standards. Project a positive and professional image at all times. Promote ideals and values of Infinity Rehab Maintains general upkeep of therapy areas. Maintains safe and clean work area and adheres to facility/company safety standards including compliance with all Infection Control, Universal Precautions, and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional. Maintains positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, residents, family members, and facility personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.
Recommended Minimum Position Qualifications:
Experience in an allied health field with a minimum of one-two year's management experience preferred. Degree or Certification in therapy or business preferred.
