$80,000 - $95,000 plus bonuses Garden Ranch Assisted Living is seeking an Assisted Living Administrator to lead our growing family of residential assisted living homes in Colorado Springs. We currently operate an 8 bed assisted living residence and are preparing to open a second 8 bed assisted living residence, creating an exciting opportunity for an Assisted Living Administrator to oversee both communities.

Garden Ranch Assisted Living is a small assisted living home that provides care to the elderly. We are a state licensed facility with up to 8 residents in the home. We are committed to providing compassionate, respectful care in a safe and supportive environment. Our team values integrity, teamwork, and treating every resident like family. With our second home opening soon, we are investing in long-term leadership and looking for someone who shares our values.
Position Summary:
The Assisted Living Administrator provides leadership and operational oversight for our residential assisted living communities, ensuring residents receive the exceptional care they deserve. This position manages staff, oversees daily operations, maintains regulatory compliance, and partners with residents, families, healthcare providers, and ownership to create an outstanding experience. The Administrator serves as the primary leader for both homes and is expected to be accessible to staff and resident families while providing guidance during emergencies and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and operational oversight for two residential assisted living homes Recruit, mentor, and develop caregivers, QMAPs, and support staff Foster a culture of compassion, accountability, and teamwork Ensure residents receive exceptional, individualized care that promotes dignity and quality of life Maintain compliance with all Colorado assisted living regulations and licensing requirements Oversee admissions, resident assessments, care planning, and family communication Manage staffing, scheduling, and employee performance Coordinate with physicians, hospice, home health agencies, pharmacies, and outside providers Monitor quality assurance initiatives and implement continuous improvements Maintain accurate documentation, personnel records, and operational systems Oversee budgets, supplies, and facility operations Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and compassion Be available to support staff and respond to operational or resident emergencies when needed
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Current Colorado QMAP certification or LPN or RN
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass background check and TB screening
  • CPR / First Aid certification Candidates must have completed, or be willing to complete, a State-approved 40-hour Assisted Living Administrator Program within 30 days of hire (employer covered).
In addition, candidates must meet one of the following Colorado qualification requirements: One (1) year of experience supervising the delivery of personal care services that include Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) OR Active Colorado Nursing Home Administrator License Active Colorado RN license plus six months of healthcare experience within the previous ten years Active Colorado LPN license plus one year of healthcare experience within the previous ten years Bachelor's degree emphasizing healthcare or human services plus one year of healthcare experience Associate's degree emphasizing healthcare or human services plus two years of healthcare experience Thirty college credit hours emphasizing healthcare or human services plus three years of healthcare experience Five years of management or supervisory experience in geriatrics, human services, or care for physically and/or cognitively disabled individuals College degree in any field plus two years of healthcare experience

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transfer 200+ pounds and assist residents with mobility Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. May be exposed to infectious diseases, bodily fluids, and cleaning chemicals. Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations Comfortable working in a residential care environment
