$70-$80 hourly for client sessions and clinical supervision; $20 hourly for adminA note on hours: This is an hourly position, meaning your pay for the clinical part of this role is dependent on how many client sessions you do in the pay period. You will be building a caseload and this will take time. In addition to advertising and networking done by Serotiny Counseling, how quickly your caseload grows will depend on a number of factors including your comfort level, time of year, client interest in your specialties, overall client demand, and your established professional network. When full, you should anticipate between 15-30 client sessions, 1-3 client admin hours, and 1-6 supervision meetings per week.
Job SummaryA Mental Health Therapist conducts affirming intakes, provides mental health diagnoses as needed, and develops personalized therapy plans for their clients. They provide counseling to individuals, groups, and/or families. Their goal is to collaborate with clients to improve their well-being as a whole person, including addressing systemic and political issues that interfere with client's lives. Mental Health Therapists attend meetings with the team and their manager/supervisor. A Clinical Supervisor provides ongoing clinical supervision to pre-licensed professionals in individual and/or group formats. They support supervisees in clinical work according to the standards of the profession. A Clinical Supervisor at Serotiny Counseling has a strong critical lens of the mental health field and is experienced in working with the topics of gender and neurodiversity. Primary Job DutiesSchedule sessions with prospective and ongoing clientsConduct therapy sessions with individuals, relationships/couples, and/or familiesCommunicate directly with clients and their families (if applicable) regarding mandatory disclosure, professional boundaries, and accessing crisis supportMaintain up-to-date, accurate, and thorough EHR records including schedule of sessions, psychotherapy notes, treatment plans, intake paperwork, billing notes, client communication, etc.

You must have access to technology with which to conduct sessions and meetings as well as a private space in which to perform sessions and meetings without interruption. You will be functioning independently for the majority of your work. You will be expected to conduct virtual sessions and attend meetings with your camera on, but will also have the ability to type. Although most of your work will be independent, you will also be part of a team of amazing professionals who you have the option to learn from and collaborate with.
