Position:
As a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) at MHEI, you are often the first and last impression our patients have of their experience with us. You play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming environment while ensuring our providers' schedules run smoothly and our patients feel informed, supported, and cared for from check-in to check-out. This is a high-impact, patient-facing role where your communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to connect with people truly matter. In this role, you will be the anchor of the patient experience—supporting smooth clinic operations, building patient trust, and ensuring every interaction reflects the MHEI standard of care. Create a warm, welcoming environment where every patient feels seen and valued Manage patient check-in and check-out, including collecting copays, updating demographics, and scanning documentation Scrub appointments to ensure reason-for-visit notes are current and aligned with provider records or referral documents Educate patients on what to expect during their visit and answer questions with confidence and care Verify insurance, complete patient tasks, and follow up on communications and voicemails Coordinate paperwork and consent forms accurately and efficiently Assist in scheduling follow-up appointments and initiating outside referrals Answer incoming calls to schedule appointments, address billing questions, and provide general practice information Share patient feedback and scheduling insights with the Front Office Manager to support continuous improvement Follow all HIPAA, security, and organizational protocols Role Breakdown:

The primary location will be at our Lakewood clinic, with occasional travel to satellite locations based on scheduling needs and candidate proximity. Hours:
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. Candidates must be available 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (38-40 hours per week). Compensation:
