Job Description:
Drives new market share from private and local municipalities and partners with internal service lines to enhance patient experience. Directs strategic planning and business development between AdventHealth and local EMS entities. Responds to evolving emergency department, EMS, and regional executive strategy goals and initiatives as a key member of the Nursing Leadership team. Performs statistical analysis to identify EMS throughput improvement opportunities, volume fluctuations, root cause analysis, forecasting, and growth opportunities. Serves as an advocate of the hospital with local, regional, and state EMS agencies. Leads EMS account management and quality matters for a multi-campus region. Facilitates performance improvement initiatives and implements new processes with local EMS agencies, medical directors, emergency department directors, and hospital administration. Develops marketing plans for EMS Week and other initiatives throughout the year. Resolves conflicts and complaints between EMS providers and the hospital. Assists with planning and response to on-campus emergencies and may provide direct patient care within the scope of the license. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent written and oral communication skills [Required] Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing/business plans [Required] Ability to work well in stressful situations while maintaining a positive attitude [Required] Strong understanding of EMS and/or Emergency Department processes and protocols [Required] Ability to listen to, empathize with, and respond to patient, family, internal and external partner needs [Required] Proficient computer skills and strong public speaking skills [Required] Superior ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally with local government officials and EMS entities. [Required] Ability to multi-task and remain focused on outcomes [Required] Ability to travel between campuses and EMS agencies in a multi-campus region [Required] Knowledge of marketing processes [Preferred]

Associate [Required] Bachelor's [Preferred] Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
degree in nursing, paramedic, or business-related field
Work Experience:
3+ related experience (nursing, paramedic, or business-related field) [Required]
