Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Administrator to oversee the operational, financial, and personnel functions of a growing healthcare practice and ambulatory surgery center environment. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, supporting exceptional patient experiences, maintaining fiscal performance, and fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture. The Practice Administrator serves as a strategic partner to physicians and organizational leadership, driving operational excellence, supporting staff development, and ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. Key Responsibilities Operations & Leadership Provide leadership and oversight of daily clinic and surgery center operations. Partner with organizational leadership to develop, implement, and achieve strategic business goals and operational initiatives. Establish, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices to support efficient operations. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that enhance operational effectiveness and patient satisfaction. Ensure services are delivered professionally while maintaining efficient patient flow and a high-quality patient experience. Investigate and resolve patient concerns in a timely and professional manner. Oversee facility maintenance, equipment, technology systems, and operational resources. Financial Management Monitor operational performance and support fiscal management initiatives to ensure the ongoing financial success of the practice. Assist with budgeting, expense management, resource allocation, and operational reporting. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining quality patient care. Human Resources & Team Development Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and performance management initiatives. Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to staff and department leaders. Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment that promotes employee engagement and morale. Participate in employee relations matters, performance improvement efforts, and disciplinary processes as needed. Compliance & Quality Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation requirements, and organizational policies. Protect the confidentiality of patient, employee, and business information. Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure operational practices align with regulatory standards. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of five years of leadership experience within a physician practice, multi-specialty clinic, ambulatory surgery center (ASC), or similar healthcare environment. Demonstrated experience managing healthcare operations, staff, and business performance. Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, accreditation, and regulatory requirements. Preferred Experience in a free-standing medical practice and/or ambulatory surgery center environment. Experience supporting multiple clinic locations or physician practices. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team-building abilities. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build effective relationships with physicians, staff, hospital partners, and community stakeholders. Strong financial and operational acumen. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with healthcare technology systems and business software applications. Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity. Pay:
$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
