Executive Director-LCSW, LADC PsychPros Staffing & Executive Search - 4.8 Waterbury, CT Job Details Full-time $85,000 - $100,000 a year 17 hours ago Benefits 403(b) Qualifications LADC Licensed Clinical Social Worker Clinical social work Full Job Description We are partnering with a small, private non-profit agency in Waterbury, CT to identify an experienced and dually licensed (LCSW, LADC) clinician for the role of Executive Director. This long-standing organization provides a comprehensive continuum of care for individuals experiencing substance use and mental health disorders. The Executive Director will provide both clinical and administrative leadership, ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational excellence, and strategic growth. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance direct clinical involvement with organizational oversight. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Provide individual, group, family, and couples therapy services as needed. Oversee client progress and ensure treatment plans are adjusted to achieve optimal outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare providers, community partners, and support networks to ensure coordinated and holistic care. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Provide supervision, mentorship, and leadership to clinical staff and interns, fostering a culture of growth and accountability. Oversee daily operations, including administrative functions, program management, and service delivery. Contribute to organizational strategy, program development, and long-term planning initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Active LCSW and LADC licensure required. Proven leadership experience, including supervision of clinical teams and/or program management. Strong understanding of both mental health and substance use treatment models. Demonstrated ability to manage clinical programs while contributing to organizational operations. Experience with financial oversight, including interpreting profit and loss statements and supporting budgeting processes. Knowledge of business development strategies within behavioral health settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Commitment to professional development and maintaining current best practices.
