REQUIREMENTS 1-2
years Doctor office experience . Countryside Pediatric Care is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Office Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced pediatric office environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check patients in and out for appointments Schedule and reschedule patient appointments Answer incoming phone calls and route messages to providers and clinical staff Upload, retrieve, and manage patient medical records as needed Collect copayments, outstanding balances, and process patient payments Review patient accounts for balances and assist with billing-related inquiries Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments Process referrals and insurance authorizations Assist with rooming patients when needed Help clean and disinfect exam rooms between patients as needed Stock exam rooms and maintain adequate medical and office supplies Maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical record system Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families Perform other administrative and office duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous medical office experience preferred Knowledge of insurance verification and authorizations preferred Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a office environment Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team
