CBH provides a comprehensive array of behavioral health services including: substance abuse and mental health therapy, psychiatric services for children and adults, psychological services for children and adults, crisis intervention and stabilization, case management, prevention initiatives year-round and a 24 hour on call service to the tribal communities.

The role would also oversee the Immokalee CBH team located at 1130 South 1st Street, Immokalee, FL 34142. Schedule is full-time in-person Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, however flexibility is needed for community events as well as being part of an on-call rotation for after-hours. Position Summary The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the leadership and staff supervision at the Center for Behavioral Health (CBH) site(s). The incumbent is responsible for administrative and clinical day-to-day management of the site. The incumbent in this position shall carry an active client caseload and is responsible for providing individual, group, and/or family therapy/counseling services to the Tribal Members. The incumbent must be skilled in application of a wide range of mental health service delivery/therapeutic techniques and in-depth knowledge of treatment for co-occurring disorders and trauma-based therapeutic modalities.

Qualifications / Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health, or Family Therapy is required. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience working in a behavioral health field as a clinician providing direct services to individuals with co-occurring disorders (e.g. mental health disorders/substance dependence-related conditions), utilizing family systems and/or community-based treatments, with at least five (5) years providing clinical regular supervision to staff, is required. Florida State License as Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Mental Health Counselor (MHC), or License as Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is required. Certification of Certified Addictions Professional (CAP), Certified Associates Addictions Professional (CAAP), or Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) in the State of Florida is preferred. Board Certification with the Indian Health Services (IHS)/United South & Eastern Tribes (USET) is preferred. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Ability to exemplify the highest level of professional standards/ethics and demonstrate appropriate and culturally sensitive service delivery and community based treatment. Ability to speak the Creek and/or Miccosukee language is preferred. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. This position is based on the Big Cypress Reservation which is at 31055 Josie Billie Hwy, Clewiston, FL 33440. The region also includes the Immokalee CBH team located at 1130 South 1st Street, Immokalee, FL 34142. The schedule is fully in-person Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm plus an on-call rotation. You would also have some day travel to other Reservations including Hollywood and Okeechobee for meetings and trainings which we'll factor into your work schedule and you can use one of our tribal vehicles to get there.
