We are a fast-paced, patient-focused pain management practice dedicated to providing high-quality care in a professional and compassionate environment. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Front Desk / Check-Out Coordinator to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Front Desk / Check-Out Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring a smooth patient experience from arrival through check-out. This position requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a busy medical office setting.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner Verify patient demographics, insurance, and required documentation Collect co-pays, balances, and process payments Schedule follow-up appointments and procedures Coordinate check-out flow to ensure efficiency and accuracy Answer phones and address patient inquiries Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff Ensure compliance with HIPAA and office policies
Qualifications:
Previous medical front desk or check-out experience preferred (pain management a plus) Strong customer service and communication skills Experience with EMR systems and insurance verification Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and highly organized Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
