Summary:
Provides leadership and oversight for the
Healthy Start Initiative:
Eliminating Disparities in Perinatal Health, to improve maternal health outcomes through outcome improvement initiatives, the programs and grants associated with the program. Establishes and maintains effective relations with federal, state, local and private funders. Leads post award implementation including development of work plans and performance matrix for programs, established data system integration protocols for data collection, integrity, analysis, and reporting. Serves as subject matter and leader in maternal health. Engage with community and other stakeholders through participation on local boards, and advisory boards.
Education:
Essential:
Bachelor's degree in nursing required (BSN). Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, BSN, or MSN).
Experience:
Seven years of related maternal child experience. Experience working with grant funding a plus.
Credentials:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or holds a multi-state nursing license; or able to obtain license prior to start is required. Visit us online at www.
