Ivy's will be the fourth concept in the We Care Hospitality portfolio. Nestled along the scenic banks of the New River, Ivy's is a rustic yet refined neighborhood restaurant that captures the spirit of Florida hospitality and coastal charm. With a menu centered around fresh seafood, a vibrant raw bar, and elevated coastal-casual cuisine, Ivy's is committed to showcasing the finest local ingredients. Designed as a destination for locals, professionals, visitors, and boaters alike, the restaurant will offer a sophisticated dining experience in a relaxed waterfront atmosphere. We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Kitchen Manager to join our opening leadership team and play a key role in bringing this exciting new concept to life. This leadership position is responsible for driving daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and consistency, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, managing labor and cost controls, and developing a strong, motivated culinary team.   • Strong understanding of kitchen systems, prep, line execution, and daily operations
  • Ability to train, coach, and develop line cooks and prep cooks
  • Dependable, accountable, and solutions-oriented
  • Experience with inventory, ordering, and food cost control
  • Understanding of proper food safety and health department standards
  • Experience creating specials or costed dishes is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and execution
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen
  • Ensure all stations are properly stocked, prepped, and set for service
  • Monitor labor daily and assist with scheduling to meet labor goals
  • Support food cost controls, waste management, and portion consistency
  • Conduct line checks and ensure quality standards are met
  • Help train and mentor kitchen staff
  • Work closely with management team to improve systems and operations
  • Ensure recipes, prep procedures, and kitchen standards are followed
  • Maintain strong communication with the team during service
  • Assist with inventory counts, ordering, and receiving
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are being followed at all times
  • Help create a positive, energetic, and team-focused kitchen culture Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years in a kitchen leadership role (Kitchen Manager, Executive Sous Chef, or similar)
  • High-volume restaurant experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of labor management and food cost
  • Experience with seafood and fast-paced kitchens is a plus
  • Experience with recipe costing and menu development is a plus Ideal Candidate
