Case Job Summary Oversight & Strategy:
Manages overall unit function, staffing, forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring while supporting facility-wide objectives.
Clinical Excellence:
Implements evidence-based practices to improve patient safety, quality outcomes, and clinical practice efficiency.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensures adherence to legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards for care delivery and equipment maintenance.
Patient Throughput:
Coordinates efficient patient flow, admission/discharge planning, and interdisciplinary communication to enhance care.
Nursing Leadership:
Directs nursing practices, care coordination policies, and competencies to meet diverse patient needs.
Patient Experience:
Drives a strategic roadmap and leverages feedback mechanisms to elevate patient satisfaction and service.
Talent & Culture:
Fosters employee engagement, provides coaching, and focuses on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
Growth & Collaboration:
Partners with physicians and executives to enhance existing services, differentiation, and increase volume.
Financial Management:
Participates in annual budgeting, monitors performance gaps, and evaluates revenue and expense variances.
Resource Optimization:
Manages labor productivity, scheduling, premium pay utilization, and identifies operational cost reduction opportunities.
What qualifications will you need:
Experience:
5 years of recent (within the last year) Acute Care Inpatient Behavioral Health Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager experience required. Certification (BCLS): Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Certification (NCI): Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
Security:
Fingerprint clearance is required for this position.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
