Renalus Center for Kidney Care is seeking a dedicated, full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our compassionate and skilled team. As a company committed to enhancing kidney care within our community, we take pride in providing the latest advancements in treatment while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. This position plays a critical role in supporting our physicians and clinical staff to ensure exceptional care for our patients. This position is being hired in support of our new Freeport clinic location , which is currently in development as part of our continued expansion across the Florida panhandle. The selected candidate will primarily work in Freeport once the clinic opens. During the onboarding period, training and interviews will take place at our Fort Walton Beach office . This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing care team and help establish operations at a new clinic site.
Work Schedule:
Monday
  • Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Applicants will be responsible for the following: Deliver outstanding customer service by warmly greeting all patients and visitors.
Manage patient check-ins for scheduled appointments. Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information. Process payments, including copays, co-insurance, and past due balances. Schedule and reschedule patient appointments as needed. Obtain additional medical information for new and existing patients. Scan and upload documents into the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. Coordinate with patients to ensure all necessary tests and referrals are completed prior to appointments. Prepare patient charts in advance of scheduled visits. Maintain operational efficiency by adhering to company policies and procedures. Skills & Qualifications Exceptional multitasking and flexibility Strong telephone and customer service skills Effective time management and organizational abilities Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Proficient in scheduling and professional documentation Computer literacy and familiarity with EHR systems Professional demeanor and focus on quality care Travel Requirements Occasional local travel (no overnight travel required). Mileage reimbursement provided. Background check and drug screening required.
