This role is crucial in ensuring that our agency provides high-quality care to our patients while adhering to all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations, and experience in managing medical administrative functions.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee daily operations of the home health agency, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Handle and manage high volume multi phones and texts while always maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Manage staff performance, including hiring, training, and evaluating personnel. Recruiting and hiring caregivers Managing job postings and applicant communication Screening applicants and coordinating interviews Supporting onboarding and hiring documentation Organize files, maintain records, and manage document filing systems both digitally and physically to ensure easy retrieval. Tracking caregiver compliance, training, and employment requirements Supporting caregiver retention and engagement Assisting with employee relations, corrective action, and terminations Maintaining accurate HR and employee records Working closely with leadership to meet staffing needs Utilize online job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach Maintain regular contact with candidates throughout the hiring process Oversees the human resource database. Ensuing that system records are accurately recorded and cross-checked Make home visits with homecare clients to obtain signatures for services. Follow-up with Clients and Employee concerns. Ensure confidentiality of employee and client information. Help the Administrator comply ideas and strategies to keep the Homecare afloat. Book and Attend Networking Events for the Agency Must have Marketing strategies Other duties as assigned May require evenings, weekends, and on-call duties Requirements Proven experience in a medical administrative role or healthcare management position. Strong knowledge of Home Health services. Familiarity with health information management systems and software Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service and phone etiquette. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it is a valuable asset for patient interactions. Previous clinic or hospital experience is preferred along with clerical experience in a medical office setting. Knowledge of care plans development and documentation review is essential.
