This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards. The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Nurse with strong leadership experience in home health, including prior Clinical Manager experience and a proven history of staff scheduling, case management oversight, and clinical team supervision. Essential ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership & Operations Provide leadership and oversight of all clinical operations and patient care services. Ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, agency policies, and regulatory requirements. Oversee care delivery and patient outcomes to ensure services meet patient needs and quality standards. Monitor compliance with patients' plans of care and coordinate corrective action when necessary. Ensure patient rights are protected and upheld at all times. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Assist with preparation for state surveys, accreditation reviews, and regulatory audits. Staff Management & Scheduling Directly supervise Clinical Managers, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Therapists, and other clinical personnel. Maintain adequate staffing levels to ensure timely patient admissions, visits, recertifications, and supervisory visits. Manage and oversee clinician scheduling to ensure efficient utilization of resources and timely patient care delivery. Monitor productivity, caseload assignments, and staff performance. Recruit, train, mentor, and retain high-performing clinical staff. Conduct employee evaluations and establish performance goals for clinical team members. Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment. Regulatory Compliance Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, Medicare, Medicaid, and accreditation requirements. Stay informed of current home health regulations, reimbursement changes, and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and professional standards of practice. Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance. Strategic Planning & Financial Management Assist in the development and execution of organizational and clinical goals. Participate in strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational development. Collaborate with leadership regarding budgeting, staffing needs, and resource allocation. Monitor key performance indicators, patient outcomes, and operational metrics. Support initiatives that promote agency growth, patient satisfaction, and operational excellence. Communication & Collaboration Promote effective communication and collaboration among clinical, administrative, and leadership teams. Serve as a clinical resource and liaison between staff, physicians, referral sources, patients, and caregivers. Coordinate special projects, educational programs, meetings, and clinical training initiatives. QualificationsRequired Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or a related healthcare setting. Previous Clinical Manager experience in a Medicare-certified home health agency is required. Demonstrated history of clinician scheduling, caseload management, and workforce coordination is required. Strong knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation, state regulations, and accreditation standards. Experience managing clinical teams and overseeing patient care operations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred OASIS experience. Experience with ACHC, CHAP, or Joint Commission accreditation surveys. Multi-site home health management experience. Experience leading performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives. Continuing Education Must complete a minimum of twelve (12) clock hours of continuing education annually in topics related to home health administration, clinical operations, leadership, or regulatory compliance.
