Job Description

Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking skills, strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to balance multiple priorities, work in a stressful environment, and take appropriate action. Works independently in a fast-paced environment, with keen attention to detail, and maintains confidentiality. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
Required Work Experience:
One (1) year of experience in a healthcare or managed care setting.
Other Information:
•Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) from National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) Preferred.
