The ideal candidate is a customer-service-driven professional who understands all aspects of dental practice operations and is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call to treatment completion. This position requires strong knowledge of dental procedures, treatment planning, financial coordination, insurance verification, and schedule management. The right candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at maintaining a productive and full doctor/hygiene schedule. Responsibilities Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service. Answer incoming calls and manage patient communications professionally and efficiently. Schedule and coordinate appointments to maintain a productive and full schedule for doctors and hygienists. Confirm appointments and manage recalls to minimize cancellations and no-shows. Present and explain treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients. Coordinate patient financing options and collect payments. Verify dental insurance benefits and accurately explain coverage to patients. Work closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment acceptance. QualificationsRequired Minimum of 2 years of dental front office experience. Experience using dental practice management software; proficiency with Dentrix is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and treatment planning. Experience with financial arrangements, payment collections, and patient financing. Experience verifying dental insurance benefits and understanding insurance claims processes. Proven ability to manage and maintain a productive schedule. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience increasing treatment acceptance and patient retention.
