POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a highly organized, neatly presented Patient Care Coordinator to be responsible for our office's front desk duties. The Patient Coordinator's responsibilities include answering e-mails and phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing patient payments, implementing referrals, and welcoming patients. You will also be required to assist with occasional clinical work, including the administration of diagnostic assessments. The position also requires flexibility and the ability to take shifts in other locations temporarily as the need arises. Front Office Duties Front desk duties from check in to check out process, including: schedule appointments, process patient paperwork, insurance verification, and submit end of day reports Answer phone calls and respond to e-mails Collect and record patients' personal and medical information Open and sort mail Mail out patient statements Handle Spanish calls, if Bilingual Help maintain office cleanliness Other office duties, as needed Back Office Duties Prepare treatment rooms Educate patient about treatment flow and purpose Administer therapies such as EMS, Ultrasound, IST, and Spinal Decompression Therapy Demonstrate and explain prescribed exercises Determine and explain patients' understanding of treatment intensity and tolerance Monitor patients' safety during treatment Track and order inventory
QUALIFICATIONS
: High school diploma or equivalent Medical Assistant Certification (optional) Health field experience (optional) Bilingual Spanish (optional) Microsoft Excel & Word knowledge, typing, & other computer skills Customer service skills Good verbal, communication skills Well-groomed, professional appearance A team player Friendly, caring, and compassionate attitude
SCHEDULE & LOCATIONS
(Total 35 work hours) Staff will commute between two locations in one day, three (3) times a week. Transportation allowance will be provided.
