Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physical Therapy Clinic Manager to lead our outpatient rehabilitation team with energy and enthusiasm. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily clinic operations, ensure exceptional patient care, and foster a positive environment for both staff and clients. Duties Manage the daily operations of the outpatient physical therapy clinic, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality patient service Lead, motivate, and support a team of licensed physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and administrative staff Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards, anatomy knowledge requirements, and physiotherapy best practices Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems effectively to document patient progress and maintain accurate records Coordinate with healthcare providers across inpatient, outpatient, hospital, home health, and community care settings to optimize patient outcomes Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives focused on patient care excellence Facilitate training on trigger point therapy techniques and other specialized physiotherapy interventions such as orthopedics and geriatrics Maintain thorough knowledge of physiology principles to guide effective treatment strategies Develop and implement physical therapy programs and protocols Supervise and mentor physical therapy staff Evaluate and treat patients to alleviate pain and improve mobility Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and accreditation standards Prepare and manage department budget Continually assess and improve department processes and procedures Qualifications Proven experience managing a physical therapy or rehabilitation clinic in outpatient or hospital environments In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy Experience working with pediatric and geriatric populations Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and clinical management purposes Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate multidisciplinary teams and foster a collaborative environment Advanced degree in physical therapy or related field. Previous experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations. Proven track record of successful budget management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy. Membership in professional organizations such as the APTA. Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of operation Minimum of 5 years experience in a Physical Therapy leadership role, preferred Strong knowledge of physical therapy practices and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team Strong organizational and time management skills Budget responsibly Join us to lead a passionate team dedicated to transforming lives through expert physiotherapy!
