FT (or PT) Office Nurse Manager - Plastic Surgery Marquis Plastic Surgery - 3.7 Miami, FL Job Details Full-time $25 - $40 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Spanish English Administrative experience Office management Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Full-Time Office Nurse Manager specializing in Plastic Surgery (or Derm or MedSpa) to lead our team. This role is a hybrid. It comprises clinical nurse manager and administrative office management and duties split 65/35%.
Must be fully bilingual:
English/Spanish. Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Operations and Oversight Supervise daily clinical operations within the outpatient plastic surgery practice to ensure efficient workflows, patient safety, and an excellent patient experience. Oversee all medical assistants, including staffing, training, delegation of duties, and performance oversight. Review and ensure timely completion of all clinical documentation and operative notes. Review booking sheets and surgery schedules for accuracy and completeness prior to procedures. Ensure compliance with sterilization, infection control, and clinical safety protocols at all times. Be available to scrub in and assist with procedures on an as-needed basis. Patient Care and Clinical Support Perform pre-operative nursing assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and EMR documentation. Review pre-operative clearances and surgical consents to confirm that procedures, risks, benefits, and alternatives are appropriately documented. Conduct and oversee post-operative care, including dressing changes and follow-up assessments. Provide patient education on post-procedure care, medications, activity restrictions, and recovery expectations. Participate in discharge planning and coordination of post-operative follow-up care. Physician and Surgical Team Coordination Coordinate closely with physicians and surgical staff to facilitate procedures, including assistance with sterile technique and instrument management when applicable. Serve as a clinical liaison to ensure seamless communication between providers, staff, and patients. Administrative and Compliance Responsibilities Manage and renew all practice licenses, permits, and filings, including Sunbiz, medical licenses, business tax licenses, and biomedical waste permits. Oversee patient medical record requests and ensure compliance with HIPAA and medical record retention requirements. Work with the external billing company on reimbursement matters as needed, recognizing that the majority of services are cosmetic. Ensure accurate and compliant medical documentation across all patient encounters. Inventory, Vendors, and Facilities Manage inventory and ordering of medical and surgical supplies, including sterile processing materials and clinical equipment. Bid out and manage service providers, such as internet and operational vendors, on a recurring basis. Monitor supply utilization to maintain cost efficiency without compromising patient care or safety. Human Resources and Financial Operations Onboard and train new hires in clinical and operational workflows. Run payroll and process contractor payments. Support ongoing staff education and adherence to practice policies and procedures.
