Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Office Coordinator to support the daily administrative operations of our home health agency. The ideal candidate will serve as the central point of communication for patients, caregivers, clinicians, and referral sources while ensuring smooth office operations and compliance with healthcare regulations. Function as Receptionist for the office, answering inquiries of general nature from applicants, visitors, and professional staff, assisting them in a friendly, and cooperative, manner Completes intake forms and appropriately route for admission to agency Takes telephone referral information, if direct all to office and forward information as soon as possible Assists in coordination of patient care under direction of Clinical Manager as needed Assists with scheduling, input scheduling information on the computer, continue to assist in the coordination of scheduling Assists with communication with patients/families and staff with welcome calls Calls MD offices and facilities to obtain face-to-face , missing documentation and orders Updates the lists of the face-to-face, hospital holds Maintains confidentiality of all office and record information Assist with the full-time and part-time payroll procedures when directed by the Branch Director Assume various duties as directed, by the Clinical Manager, Branch Director, Executive Director Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience as a coordinator, or office manager, preferably in the health care field Should be a skilled organizer able to manage office files, logbooks, and staff schedules Must possess light secretarial skill and have a polite telephone manner Requirements A level II background screening is required for this position https://info.flclearinghouse.com Current Driver's License with current auto insurance CEU on Elderly Abuse, Human Trafficking and Alzheimer's/Dementia TB test results Level II background screening https://info.flclearinghouse.com results We demonstrate non-discriminatory practices . •Questions about Patients First Home Care or any of the job positions we have available?
