Job Description

We are the premier psychiatric practice in the Greater Tampa Area, proudly recognized as a Tampa Bay Times Best of the Best winner for both Group Practice and Holistic Practice. Due to our continued growth and expansion of services, we are looking for a compassionate, organized, and driven Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and wants the opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding organization. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will often be the first point of contact for our patients — both in person and over the phone. You will play a key role in supporting patients throughout their care journey while ensuring smooth communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff. Responsibilities Handle a high volume of incoming phone calls, text messages, and patient portal communications with professionalism and empathy Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations efficiently Maintain accurate and organized patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance Provide excellent customer service and assist patients with questions and concerns Enter and update patient information within electronic medical record systems Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism Coordinate medication refill requests with providers Support providers and administrative staff with daily office operations Help ensure smooth patient flow and an excellent overall patient experience Qualifications Previous medical office experience preferred, but not required Experience in psychiatry or behavioral health is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working with computerized scheduling and medical record systems Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged to apply What We Offer Opportunity for professional growth and advancement within the company Supportive and collaborative team environment Meaningful work that positively impacts the community The chance to be part of one of the fastest-growing psychiatric practices in the Tampa Bay area Join us as a Patient Care Coordinator where you can make a meaningful impact on patient care while working in a supportive environment!
