Clinical Director Ft Lauderdale Office - Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 Apply Overview Salary Range $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Salary/year Position Type Full Time Education Level Graduate Degree Apply Description SUMMARY Oversee all clinical and administrative operations of assigned program to ensure clinical integrity, quality, contract compliance, utilization, budget/fiscal efficiency and COA compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assures the clinical quality and integrity of the therapeutic program as required by all applicable standards, regulations and policies. Identifies and analyzes problem areas in order to improve quality of care. Oversees and monitors the implementation of therapeutic interventions being utilized by staff in the program. Provides clinical supervision in accordance with the current clinical policy and procedure manual. In foster care programs, manages foster parents including their overall care of the foster children, compliance with relevant regulations and standards, training, arrangement and monitoring of placement matches/respites and completion of all related data tracking and documentation. Participates in or provides assistance in therapeutic interventions, court hearings as well as school and community meetings as required for the program. Works directly with the consulting psychiatrist to assure quality of care to clients. Utilizes quality assurance tools and systems to supervise client and family services and program requirements including the monthly report, chart auditing, contract outcomes, and strategic planning benchmarks. Attends, completes, and demonstrates competency in all required Camelot training. Evaluates clinical staff competency in all job requirements and provides regular feedback and corrective action when necessary. If supervising a program that utilizes a specific clinical model, assures compliance with all requirements of the model including training, interventions and data reporting. Ensures program staff and foster parents receive training by utilizing Camelot training, outside sources, new training updates, requests from feedback and issues identified in quality improvement activity. Assures clinical documentation is completed according to Camelot policy and procedures, contract requirements, and all other applicable regulations. Assures all required billing and data paperwork is completed accurately and submitted within required timelines. Effectively represents Camelot in the community and conducts regular referral development activities with funding sources and stakeholders 24/7 on-call crisis support in applicable programs. Assures the accurate collection and reporting of outcome and programmatic data to internal and external sources. Meets budgetary expectations through utilization management of staff productivity, client authorizations and eligibility, and assuring proper staffing according to the flow of referrals and number of clients in the program QualificationsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages directly or indirectly employees assigned to the program. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
Master's degree in a Human Service discipline and five years of related experience working with children/adolescents and families in a therapeutic treatment environment preferred. Two years of supervisory experience preferred. The number of years of experience and exact type of experience shall be in accordance with COA and applicable contract/funding requirements.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
This position requires the following credentials. Possess a current Background Clearance Screening Letter. Possess a valid drivers license and be insurable by the agencys current insurance carrier if using a company automobile. Valid personal auto insurance CPR Certified (Where required) Licensure as aLCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPCC-S, PCC, LISW-S
according to state regulations, contract requirements, COA regulations and funding requirements.OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
