Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Medical Billing Manager to join our Management team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of medical billing procedures, insurance claims processing, and revenue cycle management. As the Medical Billing Manager, you will lead a team of billing specialists, ensure accurate and timely submission of claims, and optimize the organization's revenue cycle. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily billing activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in claims submission and follow-up. Collaborate with providers, billing staff and insurance companies, to resolve billing issues promptly. Utilize billing software and electronic health record systems effectively to optimize workflow management. Respond to provider requests for reports, coding questions, etc. Experience Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing a team of billing professionals or administrative staff. Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes, coding standards and payer requirements. Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex billing issues efficiently. Proficiency in medical billing software platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
