Position:

Clinical Support at Substance Abuse Detox/Residential facility

JOB SUMMARY

Maintains open communication lines with Clinical Director, Center staff, attending clinicians and physicians, clients and families. The Clinical Support provides to support to Patients and Clinical staff with group facilitation, biopsychosocials and documentation.

ESSENTIAL

 JOB DUTIES Utilize knowledge and skills to provide group psychotherapy, meeting the patient's treatment needs and requirements. Document client progress/regression according to established policies and procedures in a clear. concise. timely manner. Provide pertinent patient information to clinical team based on evaluation to assist in the patient treatment process. Demonstrate effective communication skills. Continue with educational courses and in-services training, per policies and procedures. Respond positively to changing situations in the work setting. Work as a team member, demonstrating maturity under stress and objectivity. Perform in a professional manner and role models a positive image of mental health. Demonstrate effective communication skills. Works in a safety-conscious manner which ensure the safe work practices are used in order not to pose a risk to self or clients in the workplace. Complies with company policies and procedure and local, state, and federal regulations. Meets with supervisor on a regular basis to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas and or improving services. Assist in developing aspects of treatment plans and treatment plan updates in collaboration with other treatment team members. Effective time management. Update knowledge of community resources on a continuous basis. Report abuse of patients' rights immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of two years' experience in substance abuse or a minimum of one year of experience. BS/BA preferred Ability to work as a team member and have management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs. Knowledge of State guidelines. Demonstrates Proficiency in Verbal & Written Communication Skills. Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws. Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies and Procedures. Knowledge of Workplace Violence. Knowledge of current utilized technology

Pay:

$37,500.00 - $50,000.00 per year
