Bridges of America is the oldest and most successful private non-profit provider of re-entry services in the state of Florida, providing a continuum of care in Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Programs, Transition Centers, and Community Release Centers, for ex- offenders and probation populations. We are looking for individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for inspiring, helping and challenging people and we want you to be a part of our Clinical team as a Clinical Director . Our Clinical Director play a key role in our clients continued success. We are seeking Counselors who will use their knowledge of substance abuse or mental health counseling to aid Bridges of America in continuing to provide outstanding service to our clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
including the following: Responsible for executing all Company policies related to this position. Responsible for clinical supervision of counseling staff per Company policy and the Company contract to include probationary, quarterly and yearly evaluations. Responsible for hiring, training and discipline of clinical staff per Company policy. Conducting weekly clinical staff meeting per Company policy. Develop clinical staff work schedules per Company policy. Ensures the Therapeutic Community programs function per Company policy and Company contract. Facilitates Phase III Petitions per Company policy. Responsible for the Aftercare component per Company policy and
F.A.C. 65D-30.
Manages Upper and Lower client structure boards including weekly meeting. Supervision and inspection of client records to ensure compliance and quality of treatment per Company policy, Company Contract and
F.A.C. 65D-30.
Attends monthly Department Head meetings with the Executive Director. Be available to work all shifts to ensure proper coverage per contract and policy standards. Clock in and out utilizing the company time and attendance system Must be able to perform the major functions of job with or without an accommodation. Required to attend all mandatory training specified by policy. Must be able to speak, read write and understand English. Report all workers compensation injuries, whether they require medical attention or not, to their immediate supervisor, the Business Administrator or the Director immediately. Report all breaches of company policy or code of ethics that you have knowledge of, hear about or see regardless of who is involved in the breach to Executive Director immediately. Or HR Department when necessary. Report all unsafe conditions that could affect clients/inmates or employees which you become aware of to Executive Director. To be eligible for a promotion you must demonstrate organizational abilities and must have good written and oral communication skills. Ensure that all applicable policies and procedures that fall within the scope of this job description are followed and adhered to. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director. A minimum of a Master's Degree and one (1) year experience in the delivery of services to residents or offenders or inmates in the care, custody, or supervision of federal, state or local criminal justice system. Or five (5) years of experience in the delivery of services to residents or offenders or inmates in the care or custody of a federal, state or local criminal justice system may be substituted for the Master's Degree. Prefer three (3) years of supervisory experience. Must have an LMHC with addictions, substance abuse and/or mental health experience.

Education and Experience may be substituted for each other on a year-to-year basis as deemed necessary
