Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide ABA services for a client funded through private insurance. The ideal candidate must have strong clinical experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work professionally with families, caregivers, RBTs, and insurance-related requirements. The BCBA must be able to complete weekly supervision visits, provide effective parent training , conduct assessments, update treatment plans, and ensure that all clinical documentation meets the standards required by private insurance providers.
Responsibilities:
The BCBA will be responsible for: Conducting direct and indirect supervision of ABA services. Completing required weekly visits with the client in Pembroke Pines. Developing, reviewing, and updating individualized treatment plans. Conducting skill-based and behavior assessments as required by private insurance. Using assessment tools such as
VB-MAPP, PDDBI
, PSI, SRS, etc...and other tools commonly required by private insurance providers. Providing consistent and effective parent training . Training and supporting RBTs in the implementation of behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs. Monitoring client progress through data review and clinical observation. Modifying programs and interventions based on client progress and data. Completing clinical documentation, progress reports, reassessments, and authorization-related materials in a timely manner. Ensuring treatment is medically necessary, clinically appropriate, and aligned with insurance requirements. Collaborating with caregivers and other professionals involved in the client's care. Required Qualifications Active BCBA certification in good standing. Experience working as a BCBA in the ABA field is mandatory. Experience with private insurance cases strongly preferred. Knowledge and experience using assessment tools such as
VB-MAPP, PDDBI
, and other insurance-approved assessment tools. Strong ability to provide structured and effective parent training . Must be bilingual. Must be a fluent English speaker. Must be able to travel to Pembroke Pines for required weekly visits. Strong clinical writing and documentation skills. Ability to supervise RBTs and provide clear clinical feedback. Professional, reliable, organized, and consistent with scheduled visits. Preferred Skills Experience completing reassessments and treatment plan updates for private insurance authorizations. Familiarity with medical necessity documentation. Strong communication skills with families and caregivers. Ability to work independently while maintaining clinical compliance. Experience with behavior reduction programs, replacement behavior teaching, functional communication training, and caregiver implementation support.
Pay:
$90.00 - $100.00 per hour
