Job Description

Local Team Collaboration:
Under the direction of the Associate Chief Anesthetist Officer (ACAO) and in partnership with the Regional Medical Director (RMD), the Regional CRNA Director helps advance the strategic priorities of Sound Anesthesia's new and existing programs. This leader partners with clinical and operational teams to support practice growth, guide new site implementations, and develop Anesthesia Improvement Plans (AIPs) that strengthen care delivery, clinical performance, and team collaboration across partner facilities.
Qualifications:
Must have a Graduate Degree in Nurse Anesthesia (CRNA) from an accredited program. Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Must possess a valid and active registered nursing license and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the applicable state(s). Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chief CRNA or similar high-level clinical leadership position within an anesthesia department or a similar clinical environment. Must be actively practicing clinical anesthesia to maintain your clinical skills, stay updated with advancements in the field, and understand the practical challenges of providing anesthesia care. Must have impressive leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Excellent clinician with strong planning, diagnostic, and crisis management skills. Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems, and objectives. Ability to use various computer systems and applications. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with medical and administrative staff.
Scheduling:
On average, a 40-hour work week clinically. Administrative duties separate from clinical.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervising the chief CRNAs to ensure that each program is implemented and continuously improved upon. Deliver orientation presentation to new team members, train and develop site clinical leadership and staff to ensure adoption of Sound and Sound Anesthesia culture, protocols, best practices, and group norms at new and existing sites. Provide clinical anesthesia in facilities requiring additional staff to meet contracted points of service. Under the direction of the ACAO/RMD/Regional Director of Operations (RDO), assume a clinical leadership role as necessary in unstable contracts with the goals of stabilization of the contract and anesthesia team improvement. Collaborate with the

to develop and implement the anesthesia improvement planning, coordinating with C-suite hospital leadership, director-level hospital leadership, and Sound Anesthesia leadership. Collaborate with the
ACAO/RMD/RDO
to provide clinical and leadership management throughout an implementation or improvement plan, with frequent, cadenced communication with key stakeholders. Collaborate with the
ACAO/RMD/RDO
to facilitate completion of site implementation planning. Possess knowledge of facility budgets and contracted POS for new facilities and unstable facilities requiring intervention. Collaborates with Sound Anesthesia operational and clinical leadership in budgetary management. Ensures chief CRNAs are equipped/trained in schedule development to cover contracted points-of-service within budget parameters. Partner with the chief CRNA in reviewing CRNA overtime/additional compensation against points-of-service and variance requests. Collaborates with the credentialing and revenue department to ensure compliance with provider enrollment requirements, billing compliance, and information request management.
Living and Working Locally:
Candidate must reside in or relocate to Pensacola, FL. This position covers Sound Anesthesia programs in the Florida Panhandle.
