Supporting the Port Charlotte Area The role you'll contribute: The Home Health (HH) Administrator is actively involved in the daily responsibilities of running the agency and is appointed by and accountable to the governing body, acting as a liaison between the agency and the governing body. This individual assumes accountabilities for all aspects of the clinical and business operations and provides an annual report to the governing body. The Administrator provides leadership and oversight for the coordination of all clinical services involved in providing quality, cost-effective, billable care that aligns with regulatory standards. The Administrator is responsible for achieving clinical excellence in outcomes, regulatory compliance, consumer, and employee experience in a fiscally responsible manner. The HH Administrator functions as the "Administrator" with Federal and State governing bodies. Where allowed by state regulations, the Home Health Administrator may also function as the Clinical Manager as defined in CMS Conditions of Participation.
Minimum qualifications:
Demonstrate knowledge of resources in the health care community. [Required] Demonstrate clinical expertise and communication skills [Required] Demonstrate Leadership abilities [Required]
Education:
Bachelor's [Required]
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement
  • Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years of equivalent experience
Licenses and Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR Physical Therapist (PT) [Required] Basic Life Support
  • CPR Cert (BLS) [Preferred]
Work Experience:
5+ years of progressive experience leading home
  • based care operations or other related healthcare operations [Required]
