Job Description
We are working with a very successful national Hospice company searching for a Clinical Director for the Port Charlotte, FL area. Ideal candidate for the Clinical Director position is clinically strong in hospice care, an effective team leader, and possesses a solid knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation standards. Patient care is a priority and this hospice also utilizes several unique alternative therapies in conjunction with their quality of care. This successful company is a premier provider of end-of-life care and offers a generous salary and great benefits. Must be a registered nurse.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Hires, evaluates, and terminates organization personnel. Develops, implements and evaluates the orientation program for new organization personnel. Conduct annual evaluations on clinicians, or more frequently if indicated. Overseas the maintenance of patent clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purpose of evaluation and reporting of organization activities. Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.Required Skills:
Registered Nurse with a current license in the state of FL 3+ years of management experience, with at least five years of experience in home health or hospice. Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited university. Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community. Current AHA CPR certification. Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in good working condition. Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and Joint Commission Standards.Job Type:
