PART TIME
(FRIDAY ONLY) bilingual (preferred) individual with medical office experience to join our team. Applicants should be team players with a positive attitude and friendly disposition. Must be available to work Fridays. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Greet and check-in patients upon arrival w/a pleasant disposition
  • Schedule follow-up appointments
  • Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical record
  • Perform insurance eligibility, verification and collection of co-payments
  • Maintain a clean and organized area
  • Upload imaging from outside facilities
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a medical office is required (2+ years)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records systems, eCW is preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work part-time in a medical office.
