PART TIME
(FRIDAY ONLY) bilingual (preferred) individual with medical office experience to join our team. Applicants should be team players with a positive attitude and friendly disposition. Must be available to work Fridays. Duties will include, but are not limited to:- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival w/a pleasant disposition
- Schedule follow-up appointments
- Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical record
- Perform insurance eligibility, verification and collection of co-payments
- Maintain a clean and organized area
- Upload imaging from outside facilities
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a medical office is required (2+ years)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems, eCW is preferred
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work part-time in a medical office.
