Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly impact patient care and clinic growth. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate support to healthcare providers and patients while helping ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional service. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine clinical responsibilities with patient education, community outreach, and marketing initiatives in a boutique, patient-centered healthcare practice. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments to ensure seamless clinical flow. Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and explaining procedures clearly. Collect and process laboratory specimens, perform phlebotomy, administer injections, assist with IV therapy, and document results accurately. Maintain clean and organized clinical areas, sterilize equipment, and ensure compliance with infection control standards. Manage patient records electronically, update charts with relevant information, coordinate referrals, and schedule follow-up appointments. Support administrative tasks such as answering patient questions, verifying insurance information, managing appointment schedules, and assisting with patient communications. Assist with practice marketing initiatives, including social media posting, blog content creation, patient education materials, website updates, and community outreach activities. Represent the practice professionally both inside and outside the office through networking events, health fairs, and relationship-building with local businesses and referral partners. Requirements Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; current certification required. Proven experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in patient care procedures. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and infection control practices. Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to build positive patient relationships. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic computer skills including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and social media platforms. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing compassionate patient care while supporting practice growth and community engagement. Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
