Background in sales preferred•First Coast Hearing is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and takes pride in being the best in the business. We are looking for someone who is not only detail-oriented and personable but also enthusiastic about creating an outstanding experience for every patient who walks through our doors. This role is primarily front office-based but also includes assisting with basic hearing aid walk-in visits. What We're Looking For:
We are seeking to add a compassionate, motivated, and enthusiastic individual who can assist in front office operations while providing outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate is a team player who is confident, reliable, and excited about making a difference in people's lives . Medical office experience working with insurance is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and assist patients in person and over the phone Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments, and take accurate messages Manage patient flow and maintain a calm, efficient front office environment Collect payments and verify insurance Perform administrative tasks and maintain electronic health records Prepare charts for the following day Support walk-in hearing aid visits and patient retention initiatives Make outbound calls and assist with local patient engagement efforts Willingness to travel to other locations (Palm Coast, Ormond Beach) as needed Open to out-of-state travel for training (typically less than once per year)
Qualifications:
High School diploma required; some college preferred Prior medical office experience strongly preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Experience with insurance and medical billing (preferred) Friendly, professional, and able to multitask under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and OneDrive Must be able to pass a background check Reliable transportation and ability to commute between all locations is required Why Join First Coast Hearing?
