Domestic Violence Shelter Manager Tallahassee, FL 32308 $50,148.86 - $53,476.50 a year - Full-time $50,148.86 - $53,476.50 a year - Full-time Refuge House is currently accepting applications for the Director of Emergency Shelter in Leon County. Qualified candidates will possess the following qualities:: Experience working with people in crisis Experience working with survivors of abuse. Knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of interpersonal violence. Strong de-escalation skills. The ability to provide counseling and/or emotional support to individuals in crisis. Experience working with people displaying symptoms of PTSD. DIrect service experience working with people who are struggling with SUD. Excellent supervisory skills, and a proven track record of good leadership. Experience working with people who are homeless or facing homelessness. A professional history of working in residential settings with individuals who are in crisis.
