In this crucial role, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from appointment scheduling to follow-up care, as well as obtaining authorizations for testing. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a caring environment that promotes patient satisfaction and supports efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-out procedures, ensuring a positive impression. Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments using medical office software. Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical history accurately. Obtain authorization for the test done in the office Provide clear explanations of treatment procedures and answer patient questions with professionalism. Support medical staff by preparing patient charts, updating records, and managing documentation. Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment reminders, follow-up care instructions, and billing inquiries. Maintain a clean, organized front office environment to promote efficiency and comfort for all visitors. Requirements Prior experience working in a medical office setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately understand and communicate clinical information. Proven ability to provide excellent medical administrative support with attention to detail. Office experience demonstrating proficiency in scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR), or similar systems. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic approach that puts patients at ease. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
