Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Program Director to lead clinical services at a residential treatment facility dedicated to adolescents. Clinical Program Director Requirements & Qualifications Doctorate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred. Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field required. Current and active clinical licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist) in the state of Virginia. Minimum 5 years of experience providing clinical services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Demonstrated experience working with adolescents in a residential or acute care setting. Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, and adolescent development. Proficient in clinical documentation, EMR systems, and compliance standards. Clinical Program Director Preferred Background & Skills Experience with Joint Commission accreditation and Department of Behavioral Health regulations. Certification or training in trauma-focused CBT, DBT, or other adolescent treatment modalities. Experience with family therapy and systems-based approaches. Clinical Program Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support a multidisciplinary team of therapists, case managers, and behavioral staff. Oversee the development, implementation, execution, and evaluation of individualized treatment plans. Ensure clinical programming aligns with best practices in adolescent mental health and trauma-informed care. Conduct regular clinical supervision and staff performance evaluations. Monitor and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accrediting bodies' regulations, including documentation standards. Facilitate and participate in case conferences, family meetings, and staff training sessions. Review and approve treatment plans, discharge summaries, and timely clinical documentation for accuracy and timeliness. Lead crisis intervention efforts and provide clinical guidance during high-risk situations. Serve as a liaison with families, external providers, school personnel, and referral sources. Analyze clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives. Participate in leadership team meetings and strategic planning.
