Job Description

Bringing concierge-level care to patients with rare disease across Florida. Are you the hardest worker you know that is also highly organized? Do you enjoy making excel spreadsheets and interacting with nurses and patients every day? And are you willing to work hard to ensure patients with rare diseases are scheduled quickly? If the answer is yes, then apply for our Patient Coordinator position at Prosper Infusion. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving patient access to life-changing infusion therapies. You'll build meaningful relationships with patients and nurses. This role is onsite Mon-Fri, but may require work after hours and on the weekends as needed.

The role of the Patient Coordinator is to interact with nurses and patients in a timely manner. A successful Patient Coordinator should be able to communicate efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. The goal is to ensure that the company's staffing requirements are always met, and employees work in a friendly, supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent) Answer the phones and monitor patient messages Investigate pharmacy needs and take action to staff accordingly Work with other staff members to fulfill the needs of patients and nurses' schedules Possess excellent communication and written skills to effectively speak to employees, patients and pharmacies Prepare and submit reports on pharmacy operations Education and/or Experience Requirements College degree preferred 2+ years experience working in healthcare Basic Qualifications Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open referrals simultaneously Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills Communicate in a timely manner
