Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team! Your proactive approach will help coordinate appointments, verify insurance, manage medical records, and support clinical staff with administrative tasks. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using EMR (Electronic Medical Record). Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and handle medical collection activities accurately Schedule patient appointments efficiently while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy Review and update medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality Assist with documentation review, including CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, and care plan documentation to support clinical accuracy Support front desk operations by managing filing systems, patient intake forms, and office correspondence Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office or clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with dental or hospital environments Strong knowledge of EMR systems is a plus Proficiency in medical billing, insurance verification, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and health information management Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to handle sensitive patient information discreetly Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations Outstanding customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and clerical experience in a busy office environment Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and data entry Join our team to help deliver top-quality patient care while enjoying a supportive work environment that values your contributions!
